2) English words referring to children by age

“Zero age” is not used in English. Use “newborn” for 0-3 months old, “infant” for under 1 year old, and “a toddler” for 1-3 years old. After that, we use school-aged system (preschooler, kindergartner, 1st grader, 2nd grader, 3rd grader, etc.)

3) Original

At the time, everybody anticipated the shortage of the resources and the products. But they just shared it.

3) Paraphrase

At the time, everyone was anticipating a shortage of resources and supplies, but they still shared what they had.
